If you have been searching for how to turn off DU battery saver app notification on your phone status bar, here is the page that will help you disable it completely.

This exactly how I did mine, and I’m pretty sure it will work for you too.

I never went to Google play store to install this app on my phone, it came as one of the bundled apps on my phone.

I’m respecting it because it came pre-installed on my phone, if not; I would have uninstalled it long before now.

I could remember some time ago when this notification from DU battery saver took my phone status bar by storm 😆

I was able to fix it back then, as I was not comfortable seeing it in my phone status bar.

This afternoon, when I dropped my phone notification bar to see the notifications I’ve got, I saw it again in my status bar.

What? Not again!

Since I could not remember exactly how I fixed it the last time it came up, I had to navigate the graphical interface of the “DU battery saver app” hoping to see the control button to disable its notification from my phone status bar.

Unfortunately, I could not find the turn off button within the DU battery saver app interface.

But I still had to find another way to fix it outside the app interface, since I hated to see it on my phone status bar.

The found way to turn it off and disable it completely is what I’m about sharing with you today.

If you are comfortable with it, you can leave it there.

I don’t think I really need it, my phone already has my leftover battery percentage displayed at the top of the phone screen so no need for a duplicate function.

Disclaimer: I’m not against the DU battery saver app showing notification on your phone status bar neither I’m I against the use of the application generally.

Should in case you don’t just want to see it in your phone status bar, here is a quick fix:

I want it gone too. I tried your method on my LG V30 running android 9 but after a long press it said Battery Saver was part of the operating system and its notification could not be turned off.
    Sigh.
    Thanks anyway.
